How do I get to The McIntosh 1890s Festival 2026?

McIntosh Florida is conveniently located between Gainesville and Ocala on US-441.

Take Exit 368 or 374 if you are coming from I-75.

The festival takes place in and around Van Ness Park (5822 Avenue F), extending along Avenue F, Avenue G, and 4th through 8th Streets.

 

 

 

Are there places to stay overnight?

Yes. Sportsman’s Cove Resort in McIntosh offers RV sites and cabins for a convenient stay close to the festival.

You’ll also find several Airbnb options in town, along with the Herlong Mansion in nearby Micanopy for a more historic experience.

 

 
 

Can I bring my dog?

Yes—but plan accordingly. With over 30,000 visitors expected, it can get crowded and warm.

If your dog loves people, they’ll have a great time. If not… maybe let them judge you from home.

 

 
 

Is it cash only?

NO. Many vendors accept credit cards, and ATMs will be available on-site.

That said, having some cash on hand can make things quicker.

 

 

Is there Entertainment
?

Absolutely. Live music and local performers will be on stage at Van Ness Park throughout the day,

adding to the festival atmosphere.

 

 

Is there alcohol?

NO! The Town of McIntosh is a dry town.

 

 

 

Where can I park?

The festival and the Town of McIntosh do not provide parking.

However, many local residents offer parking on their property for a small fee.
